Case Studies
This 27-year-old patient had wanted a rhinoplasty for years but finally decided it was the right time to make the change she’d been thinking about. She didn’t like the hump on the bridge of her nose, felt her nose looked too large from the side, and noticed that when she smiled, the tip dipped downward.
Her goal was simple and very common: a nose that looked feminine, proportional, and naturally “hers”—not overdone, not obvious, just right for her face.
To help her achieve this look, we performed an open rhinoplasty focused on creating a smooth profile and a softer, more balanced tip. The procedure included:
Gently reducing the dorsal hump to smooth the bridge
Narrowing the nasal bones with osteotomies for a slimmer look
Refining and narrowing the tip so it appears more delicate
Deprojecting and slightly rotating the tip upward to prevent it from dipping when she smiles
Placing spreader grafts to support the bridge and keep her breathing open
Using a columellar strut graft to keep the tip stable and structured long-term
Her final result is a nose that looks smoother, softer, and perfectly in proportion with her features—while still looking like her. It complements her face from every angle and keeps a natural, effortless look even when she smiles.
